Dr. Spears who?
A little about me and how I came to be doing this
I never thought I'd be a premed coach but I knew I'd be a doctor.
I came to Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) with a laser focus of being a great premed student so that I could get into medical school. Which also meant I'd be involved with the premed society.
Spent my junior and senior years as president of the premed society where one of my responsibilities was organizing our annual "Medical School" day where we'd invite medical schools from across the country to campus.
Over time I definitely made connections with AdComs because I was constantly in touch with them to the point we were on a first name basis.
And thus my medical school admissions expertise came about.
My classmates would ask me for insight on applying to medical school since I had the inside track with AdComs.
However, over time I realized a lot of premeds had the same questions which gave me the idea to start this website making my knowledge accessible anytime and anywhere.
You're here because you have concerns with writing your personal statement for medical school.
To be honest, medical school personal statements are my "superpower."
I really enjoy helping students find their unique story and share it with AdComs in a compelling manner that sells them to medical schools without sounding arrogant or cocky.
Please, keep in mind the purpose of your medical school essay is to make a favorable impression on your Reader so that you get a medical school interview invite.
I can confidently say if your goal is having a compelling medical school personal statement that makes a solid case of Why Medicine and Why You then you're in the right place.
If you're ready to get off the personal statement struggle bus then I can help you craft an amazing essay for medical school.

Rochelle - Accepted NYU Med Student
"I can't thank you enough for your help. Both for guiding me in the right direction with the paper and for completely revising it. I made a few minor changes to the final draft you sent me last week and submitted the application that day. I received an Acceptance letter yesterday.
It is difficult to write about oneself, especially one's failures and I'm grateful for your quick and great work. Thank you again for everything."
