Radiation Oncologist: a physician who specializes in the use of radiation as the main modality in treating cancer patients. Radiation will be used to cure cancer either alone or in combination with surgery and/or chemotherapy.

Residency Information

You will spend 1 year in an internship, followed by 4 years of training in this residency. It is possible to receive training in the subspecialty of:
  • Hospice and Palliative Medicine- prevent and relieve the suffering of patients with life-limiting illnesses.
