Review of Medical Books

You're read a lot of medical books. Why not take the time to share one of your favorite books? If you have read one of the books listed below or know of another book which makes for reading you are more than welcome to contribute.

This section came about because I do a lot of leisure reading on medicine and have helped a lot of people find excellent books to learn more about medicine. Obviously, if we have more opinions and suggestions it helps everyone. Wouldn't you like to know about a great book to read while traveling to a medical school interview, coming home from a break at schoo, etc. Here's your chance to contribute and help other premed students find the best resources possible.

If you've read books like:

  • Complications by Dr. Atul Gawande
  • Stiff...Life of Cadavers by Mary Roach
  • Treatment Kind & Fair: Letters to a Young Doctor by Perri Klass
  • How Doctors Think by Jerome Goopman, M.D.
  • Intern: A Doctor's Initiation by Sandeep Jauhar

Then I know you've got a lot of opinions and thoughts, so go ahead and share! You don't have to write well or have a lot to say, just write as though you were talking to a friend.
