The Master of Arts in Biomedical Science offered by Midwestern University in Arizona is designed for students who are already good candidates for medical school, but need an additional opportunity to improve their credentials and MCAT score.

Each quarter students are required to take elective courses to bring their total quarter credits to 15. Electives cover a variety of disciplines; include other biomedical science courses and professional preparation courses (MCAT or PCAT Preparation, Health Career Planning, Medical Terminology, Learning Styles and Assessment, etc). The goal is to have the student improve critical thinking and study skills, while enhancing the application for professional school.
To be eligible for the Biomedical Science degree you will need to complete the typical coursework required for admission into medical, dental, or pharmacy school, which may include:

The Master of Arts in Biomedical Science begins in Fall Quarter (late August).
